Power of the Holy Communion in the era of Covid-19 pandemic
Hi everyone, my name is Samson. I am from the sesame cell group. Today I would like to share with you on my personal revival journey on how God has healed and protected me through partaking of the holy communion.
Since coming back from studying in Australia in year 2015, I would encounter at least two to three severe fevers almost every year. Every time when the fever struck me, the first thing in my mind was to seek medicine but medicine was just not enough to prevent me from = another fever next time. And there was this one day in the middle of year 2019 when I was catching up with a close friend who is also a brother in Christ, and during our fellowship sharing, he shared with me about the importance of the Holy Communion in healing and protecting our physical body because of the fact that our Lord Jesus has suffered for all my sicknesses and diseases before going to the cross, as it is written in Isaiah 53:5 “By His Stripes, I am healed”. After hearing this sharing from my friend and having conducted further research and prayer, I started to partake the holy communion by discerning that the “bread” is for the healing and protection of my physical body, and the “cup” is for the remission of my sins and righteousness with God. Since then, by the grace of God, I have never encountered any severe fever until today! Amen and all glory to God!
I also remember that my faith in this truth was tested in December last year when one of my colleagues who worked very closely with me, was infected with the covid-19 disease. All the workers of my department had to go through two PCR tests and self-quarantined for 14 days. During that time because my close family members were anxious and worried, it had caused certain worries to me as well. However, as I continued to partake the holy communion more regularly and in the right belief, I had such miraculous confidence that I will not be infected and even if there were any viruses attempted to enter into my body, I believed it would be killed off instantly! Thank God after my last PCR test the result was negative which I had always expected!
I praise God for His protection of my health all this while and I pray that my testimony will encourage you all to partake the holy communion regularly with the belief that Jesus has suffered for all your sicknesses and diseases, especially in the current covid-era. I also pray that you may encounter a fresh revival in this season and I would like to end my testimony with the following promises of God which can be found in Psalms 91: 3, 7:
“For He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence” (verse 3) “a thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it WILL NOT come near you” (verse 7).
