In this day and age, it is even more crucial that we as believers know and understand the doctrines of the Christian faith. We must ensure that we are believing in the truth so that we can live in that truth.
Course Description:
In the midst of “winds of doctrines” that blow across the Church world today, a solid theology, consisting of the major doctrines of Christianity is necessary. This course is designed to introduce to the students the major doctrines of Christianity as revealed in the Scriptures.
Course Objectives:
The aim of this course is to help the student:
- Be able to identify the major doctrines of Christianity and develop a solid biblical understanding of why you believe them.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of God’s nature, character, and abilities, as well as, man’s nature, sinful condition, and need for salvation.
- Become familiar with some of the doctrinal issues that the Church faces today.
