Seek God With Us
A church that prays together, stays together. For the next 40 days, we will be coming together at Skyline SIB to pray every morning from Mondays to Saturdays at 6:00 AM. Join us as we pray for our families, our church, and our nation.

During these next 40 days, we also fast. Here are some fasts you can commit to:
PARTIAL FASTS
You can fast a single meal or a certain food. This is described in the book of Daniel, where for three weeks he abstained from “delicacies” like meat and wine (Daniel 10:3).
COMPLETE FASTS
Water-only or juice fasting (no solids). Juice fasts will provide you with more energy than water-only fasts.
ABSOLUTE FASTS
These are total fasts: no food (solid or liquid) and no water. Paul went on an absolute fast for three days following his encounter with Jesus (Acts 9:9). Moses and Elijah engaged in supernatural absolute fasts of forty days (Deuteronomy 9:9; 1 Kings 19:8). An absolute fast should be undertaken with great care and only under the guidance of a physician/doctor. Our bodies cannot go without water for more than three days.
NON - FOOD FASTS
If you are unable to fast from food, you can try fasting from things other than food such as social media, movies, screen time, etc. Spend the time that you would normally use to eat or even use social media, to pray and seek the Lord. We also recommend keeping a journal on what the Lord has been showing you and teaching you. We encourage you to join us in fasting, but if you are unable to commit to fasting, just join us for our morning prayer!
