Rhema : Introduction to the Holy Spirit

We know much about God the Father and God the Son, but not as much about the Holy Spirit and what He does. This course will teach you, based on Scripture, all about the Holy Spirit.
Course Description:
Jesus said in John 14 that He would pray the Father and He would send another Comforter that would abide with us forever. Every believer must recognize that the presence of the Holy Spirit within him/her must be an experienced reality and that this is a critical and vital aspect of the Christian life, from beginning to end. The focus of this course is on the Person, Work and Present-day Ministry of the Holy Spirit. Special attention will be given to the Deity and Person of the Holy Spirit; how to grow in our personal relationship with Him; and how to yield to the operation of the Holy Spirit in one’s life and ministry. Students will gain understanding of the absolute necessity of the Holy Spirit in the personal life and public ministry of the believer.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able understand:
1. Understand clearly the Deity, Person and Work of the Holy Spirit.
2. Gain a basic understanding of the doctrine of the Holy Trinity.
3. Become aware of the names and symbols of the Holy Spirit in the Bible.
4. Understand the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit under the New Covenant.
5. Understand the Biblical manifestations of the Holy Spirit.
6. Develop in their personal relationship with the Holy Spirit.
