Rhema : Mission & The Church

Before Jesus left earth, He gave us a mission. This course will help us know what that mission entails and how we can complete it.
Course Description:
This course is not only about missions, but the mission of the church. It is a study of missions from the standpoint of being sent from the Kingdom of God to accomplish specific goals and objectives to strengthen and advance God’s kingdom on the earth. We will look at various ways we as Christians can do that, and the roles that each of us have in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students shall:
- Be aware of the need for missions
- Become better acquainted with practical areas of how to do missions.
- Develop an awareness of God’s heart for the world.
- Better understand the role they are to play in the work of missions.
- For those students specifically called to the ministry of missions it is expected that this course will confirm or reaffirm that calling.
